Andy and Olive Roberts hope to have a relaxing weekend, camping with their children, Jim, Ruby and Dan in the Cornish bay of Tinpiggle. Things start to go wrong when a square rigged sailing ship arrives in the bay and Jim stows away. Dan, writing lyrics for a new musical, finds his every effort haunted by the poetry of a Victorian curate who disappeared over a hundred years before. Past and present collide as hatchling bore-worms nibble holes in the universe and humans and aliens converge on Tinpiggle Bay. Their aim is to discover the secret of wormhole navigation known as the Fandango Effect. They will risk everything for control of the wormholes. But is the Fandango Effect the only key?
The Ghost of Poetry is a story in progress.
